Malaysia Hall Melbourne (MHM) provides temporary accommodation for Malaysians especially for new students who come to Victoria to study. The building is also frequently used for social, academic and religious activities as well as for meetings and discussions among Malaysian students.
The building, located at K4, High Street, Windsor, VIC 3181 was launched by Y.Bhg. Dato' Yahya bin Abdul Wahab, the Secretary-General of the
Ministry of Education,
Malaysia on the 9th April 1987. MHM is about 200 meters from St. Kilda Road and High St. junction (Melway map: 58, B6).
MHM can accommodate only 35 residents at any one time. There are a total of 22 rooms of different sizes to provide temporary and transit accommodation.
1. Only Malaysian citizens are allowed to stay at the Malaysia Hall.
2. Priority is given to newly arrived students who come along with their spouse and children.
3. New students are advised to register with the Malaysian Students' Department to ensure their welfare is taken care of during their study in

4.Students may apply for the accommodation on behalf of their family members (only parents & siblings).
5. Application must be submitted two weeks in advance of booking date(s).
6. Application can be submitted via email or fax. If the application is sent by fax, please inform
Malaysia Hall Administrator to ensure its acceptance.
7. Transit or newly arrived students (and their family) may stay for a maximum duration of 3 weeks.
8. Visitors may stay for a maximum duration of 3 days.
9. Rooms are subject to availability and MSDA has the right to refuse any application.
10. Please be advised that Malaysia Hall is not a hotel and does not provide any toiletries for visitors.
